Restream is an online service that allows you to stream to multiple services at once. It has a few great features like the ability to invite a guest to stream with you remotely (like Zoom). You can also upload videos in advance to stream at a specified time, that way if you want to premiere a video you don't need to rely on your computer to stream on the fly. Everything is processed by Restream and sent to us.

Restream offers different plans, with one of them being completely free. However, to use Restream with Uscreen, you will have to upgrade your account. Its monthly cost varies from $19 to $299. For one custom RTMP or an extra channel, you will have to at least upgrade for the $19 a month plan.

Make sure you've got a Mic and Webcam set up to start live streaming.

Navigate to Content, then go to Live Events to first create a live event.

If you haven't created a live event before, make sure to check our help article for detailed instructions.

On the Stream tab, you're going to see a Stream URL and a Stream Key. These are needed so Restream can link with Uscreen. You will need to copy both the URL and the key to start streaming.

Since stream keys can be reused, you will have to wait at least 5 minutes from event to event to reuse the same key. If you are creating a completely new live event, then you won't need to worry about that.

In Restream, click + Add Channel and select Custom RTMP. Paste in the RTMP URL (Stream URL) and the Stream Key.

You should be streaming right away as long as your custom RTMP is toggled on.

Uscreen should be receiving your stream from Restream, but before you go live, make sure you give your Live Event a test. Go to Content and click Live Events. Select the Live Event you want to stream and click Edit. Then under the Stream tab, click on Test Player. If you see your video/content from Restream, you are ready to go live.

Just note that you sometimes have to wait a good 30 seconds to see your content.

If ready, click Go Live and your live event has begun!
