Connect to Authorize.net
Updated over a week ago

Authorize.Net can accept transactions from merchants located in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, or Australia, in multiple currencies.

All payments received through your Authorize.net connection will be processed and deposited directly into your Authorize.net account.

To connect to Authorize.net, you'll first need to set up a Merchant with Authorize.net.

After you activate your Authorize.Net account using the activation link from your welcome email, you will be signed into the Merchant Interface.

The Merchant Interface is where you access your Authorize.Net account's transactions, account settings, account statements, reports, and additional services.

By default, your account is in Test Mode, which enables you to submit test transactions to validate that your Authorize.Net compatible payment solution can connect to the account, without submitting an actual charge.

You must connect a fresh/empty account. Accounts with existing user payment information may present a problem for their site, so we require a brand new account before connecting to Uscreen.

To connect your Uscreen account to Authorize.Net, generate an API Login ID and a Transaction Key, which you will need to enter into the Uscreen interface:

Obtaining an API Login ID

  • Step 1: Log in to the Merchant Interface at https://login.authorize.net.

  • Step 2: Click Account.

  • Step 3: Click Settings.

  • Step 4: Under General Security Settings, click API Credentials & Keys.

  • Step 5: Under Create New Key(s), click New Transaction Key.

  • Step 6: Click Submit.

  • Step 7: When prompted, request and enter a validation PIN.

  • Step 8: Your API Login ID and Transaction Key appear.

After you have created your API Login ID, you may not change it in the Merchant Interface. To reset your API Login ID, contact Authorize.net Customer Support.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

When using Authorize.net as your payment provider, the Gift Card feature won't be available.

Please make sure that you to into Authorize.net > Account > Settings > Payment Form > Form Field > and uncheck everything. If anything here is checked, payments may fail.

At this time, we don't support “Authorize And Hold For Review” in the fraud detection suite settings. Using this unsupported feature may result in double charges to your customers.

Concerning refunds, If you have chosen Authorize.net as your payment provider, you can only refund a user through Uscreen if their payment method is still the same as when they purchased the content. If the user has changed their payment information (credit card), you will need to process the refund directly through Authorize.net.
