Braintree is a payment processing platform owned by PayPal. If you would like to accept PayPal as a secondary form of payment, you'll need a Braintree account. This article will cover how to sign up for Braintree and the steps to take to integrate it with your Uscreen account.

Please follow the steps as outlined below:

1. Signing Up for Braintree

You must complete a simple application to create a Braintree account. Start by clicking on your country below.

2. Linking your PayPal account to Braintree

You will also need a PayPal business account in order to integrate it with your new Braintree account.

NOTE: Do not skip this step. We will not be able to integrate your Braintree account if you do not link and enable your PayPal account with your Braintree account prior to submitting your integration request.

3. Finding the Required Credentials

Next, you'll need to get ahold of the following credentials from your Braintree account:

To get this information, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log into the Braintree Control Panel

  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner

  3. Click API from the drop-down menu

  4. Scroll to the API Keys section

If no API keys appear, click the Generate New API Key button. Your private key will be revealed in the Private Key column when you click the View button, and you will find the Merchant ID at the bottom of this page.

4. Send your Braintree credentials to our Support Team

Please click the "Click Here to Contact Support" button. Be sure to send your Braintree Merchant ID, Public Key, and Private Key, to our support team and we'll complete the Braintree integration on your behalf. Please double-check your credentials before sending them.

⚠️ Please allow approximately 72 business hours for this process to complete.
