End User - App Subscription Access

If you have Native OTT apps for Android or iOS, customers may report they have purchased a subscription via the app, but are unable to access subscriber content.  When this error happens, it is likely caused by an issue with the app store itself.  Customers can easily resolve this issue by restoring their purchase.


To restore purchase on Android:

-Update the app

-Open the app and try to access locked content

-In the subscription pop-up that appears, click Restore Purchase


To restore purchase on iOS:

-Open the app

-Click the Settings gear icon

-Select Billing and click Subscribe Now

-On the subscription screen, select the Restore Purchase
