Uscreen offers everything you need in a community platform, integrated seamlessly with your content so you can take the value of your membership to the next level for your users. Community Analytics offers you the insights you need to keep your community engaged in more focused discussions and deeper connections.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the key features of Uscreen’s Community Analytics.
Available Reports
Within the Community Analytics report, you can view the following charts:
Key Metrics
These metrics give you an at-a-glance view of community activity in the last 30 days and do not update with report filters:
Active Users: number of users who have engaged in the past 30 days through actions such as posting, liking, commenting, joining a community challenge, or sending direct messages.
New Users: number of first-time users who engaged in your community, through the same actions mentioned for active users, within the past 30 days.
NOTE: this is based on community activity history, not necessarily new customers to your membership business.
Posts: number of posts made across all channels in your community during the past 30 days.
Additional Metrics
These charts provide deeper insights and update dynamically when report filters are applied:
Active Users Over Time: visualize trends in user activity, helping you understand peaks and lulls in engagement.
Engagement by Channel: engagement data segmented by specific channels to help you analyze where your community is most active.
Engagement by User: top contributors and patterns in individual user activity, helping you recognize your community’s most active members.
Engagement Heatmap: chart showing the time periods when your community is most active. Use this data to optimize posting schedules and events.
Latest Polls: table displaying the number of votes for each of your polls, ordered by posted date (most recent first).
Use this view to identify polls with the highest engagement, understand audience preferences, and inform future strategies.
Latest Challenges: engagement data for challenges, sorted by the start date of the challenge (most recent first).
Use this view to identify challenges with the highest participant numbers and completion rates, and to understand the challenges that resonate most with your audience.
Additional Notes
Here are a few important considerations when using Uscreen’s Community Analytics:
Impact of Deleted Posts and Messages:
When a post is deleted, all metrics associated with it — likes, comments, and any other engagement metric — will also be removed. This can affect historical data and drill-down analysesPoll Results: while community poll results are included in this report, user votes are not timestamped and therefore are excluded from activity metrics (you can still drill into vote totals to see who voted for a poll option and how they voted)
