Subscription Renewal Email Notifications
Once a member subscribes, they will receive a Subscription Purchase Confirmation email. This includes the subscription name and the amount paid, even if the payment was $0 due to a coupon or free trial.
Email Templates Must Be Enabled
The subscription renewal and confirmation emails are only sent if you have Uscreen's Email Templates enabled.
To check:
Go to Settings → Email Templates in your admin dashboard.
Ensure the templates you want to use are active.
If email templates are not enabled, your members will not receive those specific disabled emails.
Upcoming Subscription Renewal Email
Uscreen sends an Upcoming Subscription Renewal email only to members with quarterly, biannual, or annual subscriptions. This email is sent 30 days before the renewal date.
How It Works
Every day at 2 p.m. EST, Uscreen checks for active subscriptions (not canceled or expired) that will renew in exactly 30 days.
If found, the Upcoming Subscription Renewal email is queued and sent between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m. EST.
Depending on the member's time zone and email queue volume, they will receive the email within 29–30 days of the renewal date.
Monthly subscribers do not receive an Upcoming Subscription Renewal email. Their Subscription Purchase Confirmation email serves as their notification.
We highly recommend leaving the upcoming subscription renewal email on. Disabling this email might lead to an increase in chargebacks, which may impact your status with your payment provider.
What Happens at Renewal
If the subscription is not canceled, it will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle. Once renewed:
The member will be charged.
A Subscription Renewal Confirmation email will be sent.
How Members Can Cancel
If a member does not want their subscription to renew, they must cancel it before the renewal date. They can cancel by following the steps outlined here.
