Issue: App not working properly
Solution: Clear the cache
If you’re experiencing issues with a Fire TV app such as crashing, not working, content not loading, lag, or slow speeds, clear the cache.
When you download an app, it temporarily stores data on your device- cache. Issues occur when a cache becomes too big; clearing it improves performance.
Follow these steps to clear the cache:
1: Select Settings from the device home screen.
2: Select Applications.
3: Select Manage Installed Applications
4: Select an app to clear its cache.
5: Select Clear cache
If app still doesn't work properly, repeat these steps and select Clear data.
To clear cache for other apps: >press Back >select app >select Clear cache.
