โน๏ธ INFO: For languages that read right-to-left (like Arabic and Hebrew), Uscreen automatically adjusts your storefront layout to RTL format. No additional configuration is needed, and the storefront interface will automatically adapt when you select these languages.
Multiple Language Options
While each storefront has one base language, Uscreen offers different approaches for creating a multilingual experience.
Option 1: Third-Party Translation Software
Our first recommendation is using dedicated software that can change your site's language on the spot, such as Bablic.
With Bablic set up on your Uscreen site, end users will see language choices like this:
Benefits:
Dynamic language switching without leaving the page
Preserves your site structure across languages
No need for multiple Uscreen accounts

Option 2: Language-Specific Categories
The second option uses Uscreen's Catalog filtering feature to organize content by language.
You can see an example below, where the content is filtered by different languages:
Benefits:
Works within a single Uscreen account
Allows users to find content in their preferred language
Simple to implement with existing features
๐ NOTE: This method requires naming your videos and adding descriptions in the respective language for each category. While it helps users filter content by language, it won't translate your site's navigation and UI elements.

Option 3: Multiple Uscreen Sites
The third option involves creating separate Uscreen sites for each language, each with its own subdomain.
en.yoursite.com
fr.yoursite.com
es.yoursite.com
Benefits:
Complete language separation
Full control over each language experience
Dedicated URLs for different markets
๐ NOTE: This approach requires additional Uscreen accounts. Contact our Sales team at sales@uscreen.tv for pricing details.
Language Support in Apps
Mobile and TV apps have their own language settings.
Apps automatically detect the user's device language and will display in that language if supported
Users can change their language preference in the app settings
If the detected user's device language is not supported, the app language will default to the storefront's language
If you need a specific language added to your app, request it during your app onboarding process.
Requesting Translation Fixes
We strive for accurate translations, but occasionally context or tone may require adjustments.
๐ NOTE: Remember that translation changes affect all Uscreen storefronts using that language. Suggested translations must be appropriate for all business types and industries on our platform, not just your specific use case.
What We Need from You
Please provide a spreadsheet with:
Current Language: The text as it currently appears on the platform
New Translation: Your proposed new translation, provided per sentence (not per paragraph)
Screenshot: Include a screenshot showing where the text appears for context
English Explanation: A clear explanation of why the change is needed (e.g., tone improvement, fixing an error, or context adjustment)
How to Submit a Request
Chat or email support@uscreen.tv from your Uscreen account email with your spreadsheet attached.
๐ NOTE: Translation fixes are a low-priority task for our team. While we appreciate your feedback, Uscreen is not obligated to fulfill all translation update requests, and timelines for completion cannot be guaranteed.
