How to Request a Translation Fix
We strive for accurate translations, but context or tone occasionally require adjustments. To request a fix, follow these steps:
What We Need from You
To ensure your request can be processed, please provide a Google Drive spreadsheet with the following information:
Current Language: The text currently appears on the platform.
New Translation: The proposed new translation, is provided per sentence (not per paragraph).
Screenshot: Include a screenshot of the platform where the text appears for reference.
English Explanation: A clear explanation of why the change is needed (e.g., tone improvement, fixing an error, or context adjustment).
Requests that do not follow this format cannot be processed.
How to Submit a Request
Please email support@uscreen.tv from the email address you use for your Uscreen account with the details of your fix request. Please include the spreadsheet with the translation changes.
Tips for Submission
For Large Requests: Combine multiple changes into a single spreadsheet to streamline the process.
Check the Original Language: Switching your storefront to English can help you verify the original intended meaning of phrases.
Uscreen's Policy on Translation Fix Requests
Collaboration, Not Obligation: Uscreen appreciates feedback but is not obligated to fulfill translation update requests. Some changes may be declined if they conflict with platform standards, alter intended meaning, or do not suit all business types.
Low Priority: Translation fixes are a low-priority task for our team, and timelines for completion cannot be guaranteed.
Custom Solutions: If a request cannot be implemented, custom code may be required. Uscreen does not provide support for custom code development.
