Summary
To provide you with the best possible experience and support the latest innovations, Uscreen is deprecating API v1 on September 30, 2025. This upgrade ensures better performance, security, and compatibility across all integrations. If you’re currently using API v1, now is the perfect time to make the move to API v2 and future-proof your setup.
⚠️ Note: This change does not affect Publisher APIv1.02.
You have 6 months from the announcement to update your systems.
Why This Is Happening
Just like all software, our platform evolves. While we rarely retire services, some updates are necessary to maintain top-tier functionality and support for all customers. We’re giving plenty of notice so you can make the switch smoothly.
💡 You’re responsible for managing and updating your third-party API integrations. We’re here to support you through this transition.
Who’s Affected?
Fewer than 3% of Uscreen customers are using APIv1. This includes:
Customers running third-party platforms
Customers with outdated Uscreen apps
Members are using old versions of Uscreen apps
This means that while your app has been updated, some of your members might not have downloaded recent updates for their app on their devices.
All other customers are not affected, and no action is required.
What to Do If You Were Notified
If you received a notification from Uscreen, follow the steps below based on your situation:
You’re Using a Third-Party App 🧧
You’re likely using a 3rd party platform or a custom-built integration.
What you need to do:
Contact your third-party provider and confirm their support for API v2
If they can’t support it, you’ll need to migrate to a solution that does.
Talk to our sales team about apps →All systems using API v1 will stop working on September 30, 2025.
