Paused Subscriptions

Track the effectiveness of the pause feature by analyzing how many members returned after pausing and how much revenue was retained.

Metrics

  • Pauses: The number of pause requests initiated during the selected period.

  • Saved Members: The number of paused subscriptions that were successfully resumed — meaning the member returned to a paid subscription.

  • Retention Rate: The percentage of members who resumed their subscription after a pause.
Calculated as: Retention Rate = Saved Members / Pauses

  • Revenue Saved: The total revenue earned from successfully resumed subscriptions — a key indicator of how much revenue was retained by preventing churn.

  • Paused Subscriptions by Status: A time-based chart showing the number of pauses, grouped by their current status:

    • Churned: Members who canceled after or during the pause period.

    • Saved: Members who resumed their subscription after the pause.

    • On Hold: Members who completed their pause but haven’t yet paid the following invoice, meaning they are on hold.

    • Ongoing: Members currently in an active pause period.

  • Retention Rate Over Time: A time-based chart showing how retention evolves as pauses resolve.
NOTE: When many pauses are still ongoing, the retention rate may appear low. As more paused members resume or churn, this value will update accordingly.
