Android and AndroidTV

You can find this information on the Google Play Console's dashboard.

  1. Log in to Google Play Console

  2. All your apps will be listed in the All Apps tab.
You can find how many downloads each one had on the right side:

3. Note: This will show the number of users who have your app installed on at least one device that has been turned on in the last 30 days.

To get more granular data, you can click on the app to open the App's dashboard and click on Statistics.

  • You can build your own custom reports in the Statistics tab, by selecting the metrics you want to see, you can also set a custom date range and filter the results by additional metrics such as region, Android version, device type, etc.

  • For the purpose of getting more data about your app's downloads, you can select: Users > Installed Audience > All Users:

iOS and Apple TV

You can find this (and much more) information on the Analytics tab inside App Store Connect.

Here are the steps to easily find out how many times users in the App Store have downloaded your apps:

  1. Log in to App Store Connect.

  2. On the Home screen, click on App Analytics:

  3. From the analytics home page, you can quickly see the number of downloads in the Units column:

Here is a breakdown of the other metrics shown on this view:

    1. Impressions: The number of times your app was viewed in the App Store for more than one second. This includes search results, Featured, Explore, Top Charts, and App Product Pageviews.

    2. Units: Each first-time installation.
Tip: You can get a performance indicator by dividing the total impressions by the number of downloads.

    3. Proceeds: Displays a summary of your total proceeds for the current time frame

    4. Sessions: A Session is counted when your app is used for at least two seconds.

    5. Crashes: Obtained from the crash logs, Apple summarizes how many times your app has crashed while running on the end user's device

  4. Please, note that those numbers will always refer to a specific time frame selected in the top-right corner. This can be adjusted by you to see the metrics of other periods, as well:

  5. Click on the app name in the list to have more granular metrics from the numbers shown in the Analytics dashboard

    1. In the cards, check the 'Total downloads' (top-right corner)

    2. This card shows the total number of downloads - including first-time and redownloads - on iOS, tvOS, and macOS (yes, Uscreen apps are supported on macOS, as well)

    3. If you click on that card you can get more granular information (filter by new downloads, or redownloads), you can also see a breakdown per exact date or date range.
