You can choose to enable a Featured Category on your catalog, which will add a slider at the top of the page showcasing the first 12 videos within a desired collection. The videos and collections in these categories can have custom images or video banners for this purpose.
For both images and videos, the recommended resolution is 1900x800px. The resolution is important, as we've designed the slider around this resolution to ensure the image scales across a variety of resolutions and display sizes. Additionally, the video should only go up to 1 minute - the shorter, the better.
Featured Category Images and Videos are not available in mobile apps - They will only appear on the web and within TV apps. For mobile apps, the Catalog Image (thumbnail) is used for Featured Category instead of the Featured Category Image.
Set a Featured Category Image or Video
You can easily set the featured category image or video for a piece of content from within that content's edit page.
Navigate to Content > Videos
Click on the video you wish to edit
Scroll down until you see the "Thumbnails" section
Click on Add featured category image/video
To set a featured category image, click the No image text and crop as desired
To select a featured category video, use the dropdown to select your desired video from your catalog
Don't forget to save your changes at the top of the page.
📌 Although you can add both a featured image and a video, we recommend only choosing one of them. If you add both a Featured Image and a Featured Video, the image will only appear for a moment as a placeholder while the Featured Video loads. If you add only a Featured Video, the Catalog Image will be used as the placeholder.

Setting your Featured Category
Once you've assigned your desired category images and videos, you can select which category will appear in the Featured Category section from your website edit page.
Navigate to the Website tab in your admin area
Click into the Edit tab on the right-hand side
Find the section labeled Categories, and select your desired category from the dropdown
How Featured Content Displays
After setting up your Featured Category, you will find that the slider will cycle through the first 12 videos in the category, as determined by the order set in the category settings.
