Canceling End User Subscriptions

Unfortunately, there may come a time when a customer needs to cancel their subscription. This article provides instructions for how end users cancel an account as well as how you, as the store owner, can assist with canceling a subscription on their behalf.


How End Users Can Cancel Their Own Subscriptions

Cancel on the Web:

Log in to your account and click on Dashboard

From the dashboard, click on the option Billing

Then scroll down, locate the Active Plan and click on Change Plan

Click Cancel Membership below your active plan.

When the pop-up appears, click on Yes, I'm sure.

Once you've completed these steps, the subscription will be officially canceled, and you will not be charged for the subscription in the future.


Cancel a Mobile App Subscription

To cancel app subscriptions for iOS and Google Play Store, you can follow the instructions provided below. These instructions will help you easily cancel any app subscriptions that you may have signed up for:

1. For iOS users

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap on Your Name

  3. Tap on Subscriptions.

  4. Find the app subscription and tap on it.

  5. Click Cancel.

2. For Android users

  1. Go to your subscriptions.

  2. Open the Google Play app Google Play.

  3. At the top right, tap the profile icon.

  4. Tap Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions.

  5. Under “Subscriptions,” check the list of subscriptions for expired subscriptions or subscriptions with declined payment methods.

3. TV Devices

There are thousands of different TV devices that your customers might be using and unfortunately, we cannot provide instructions for them all. We recommend they find the appropriate instructions for their own device for cancelation of in-app subscriptions.


Manually Cancel End User Subscriptions

  1. Log into your Uscreen Admin Area.

  2. Navigate to People

  3. Search for the End User

  4. On the End User profile page, click on Manage Membership

  5. A dropdown menu will appear with 2 options.

    1. You can click cancel membership which will revoke access at the end of the current billing period.

    2. You can click End membership which will revoke access immediately.

  6. In both cases, no refund will be issued. You can issue refunds separately by clicking on their latest invoice and issuing a refund.
