Create or Edit a Subscription Plan

Easily create, edit, or delete subscription plans to match your content strategy and customer needs.

Creating a subscription plan in Uscreen lets you offer your content through a recurring payment model, making it easier for your audience to access and enjoy your content on an ongoing basis. Follow these steps to set up a new subscription plan effectively.

Navigate to the Subscription Plans Section

  • From your Uscreen dashboard, go to the Subscriptions tab in the left-hand menu.

  • Click on the + Create a Plan button to start creating your new subscription plan.

Enter Basic Plan Information

Fill out the essential information to define your plan and help potential subscribers understand what it offers.

  • Title: Choose a clear, concise name for your subscription plan.

  • Description: Provide a brief description explaining what subscribers will receive. Include key benefits and any unique value.

  • Thumbnail: Add a thumbnail image to visually represent the plan on your storefront.

📌 Tip: A well-crafted title and description will help attract potential subscribers. Be clear about the value they’re getting!

Set Your Pricing and Billing Cycle

  • Price: Set the price subscribers will pay for each billing cycle.

  • Billing Frequency: Select how often subscribers will be billed. Options include:

    • Monthly

    • Quarterly

    • Semi-Annual

    • Yearly

Enable a Free Trial (Optional)

Uscreen allows you to offer a free trial to encourage potential subscribers to try your service before committing.

  • Specify the duration of the free trial (e.g., 7 days, 14 days).

🎯 Tip: Offering a trial can help reduce the barrier to entry, allowing users to explore your content without immediate payment.

Enable the Pause Feature (Optional)

  • You can allow subscribers to temporarily pause their subscriptions instead of canceling entirely.

  • This is particularly useful for monthly or quarterly plans, as it gives flexibility to subscribers who may need a break but plan to return.

  • We HIGHLY recommend allowing the pausing of subscriptions.

Set the Plan Availability

  • Public: The subscription plan will be visible on your storefront, allowing anyone to view and subscribe.

  • Private: The plan will only be accessible via a direct link. This option is ideal for exclusive offers or custom packages meant for a limited audience.

    • 📊 Best Practice: Use private plans to offer exclusive deals, or to test new pricing with a smaller group

Review and Save the Plan

  • Double-check all details, ensuring your plan title, description, pricing, and settings are accurate.

  • Click Save to finalize the setup.


Delete a Subscription Plan

Deleting a plan permanently removes it, impacting all current subscribers.

❗ What to Know Before Deleting:

  • Subscriber Access: All users on that plan will lose access to its content.

  • Sales Data: Invoices linked to the deleted plan will no longer be filterable in the Sales tab.

  • App-linked Plans: Plans tied to apps cannot be deleted via the dashboard. Email ott@uscreen.tv for help.

How to Delete a Plan:

1. Go to the Subscriptions tab

2. Find the plan you want to remove

3. Click the three-dot menu () next to it

4. Select Delete

5. Confirm by clicking Delete Subscription

If you’re unsure whether to delete or edit a plan, consider using the Private setting to temporarily hide it instead. This allows flexibility without impacting current subscribers.
