Try Again for Free is an automated marketing feature that offers canceled subscribers another free trial to entice them back to your platform. This feature targets users who have previously canceled their subscription, allowing them to re-engage with your content after some time has passed.
It's particularly effective for re-engaging users whose timing wasn't right when they initially canceled, giving them another opportunity to experience your content before committing to a paid subscription again.
💡 TIP: This feature is particularly valuable for recapturing user interest and encouraging resubscription from people who may have canceled due to timing issues rather than dissatisfaction with your content.
Automated Workflow
The Try Again for Free automation follows a simple but effective sequence.
First Email
Sent 30 days after the user's subscription ends
Includes an offer for another free trial
Reminder Email
Sent 4 days later, if the user does not respond to the first email
Reminds the user that the offer is still available
If the user accepts the offer, their subscription is immediately reactivated with the free trial for the duration specified in your automation. If they don't cancel during this trial period, they become paying subscribers again.
ℹ️ INFO: The offer expires 3 days after the reminder email is sent, creating a sense of urgency.
