Device Sessions Limits (beta)

Protect your revenue by preventing account sharing while giving members flexibility across their personal devices

Updated today

Device Sessions Limits is a beta feature that tracks device logins across platforms and prevents account sharing by restricting the number of active sessions per user account.

๐Ÿ“ NOTE: Interested in enabling Device Sessions Limits for your store? Contact our sales team at sales@uscreen.tv to learn how to activate this powerful security feature for your account.

What Are Device Session Limits?

Sometimes, your audience members might share their accounts with others who are not paying subscribers. You know this story... like using your friend's Netflix account. This means certain audience members watch your content without paying.

At Uscreen, we want to make sure you earn the revenue you deserve for your premium content. The Device Sessions Limits feature:

  • Tracks all device logins across platforms

  • Prevents playback when an account is signed in on too many devices

  • Protects your content from those who share their accounts

โ„น๏ธ INFO: This is similar functionality of Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, and other streaming services, and is particularly helpful for popular live streaming events.

How It Works

You configure the number of device sessions per user account.
