What Are Streak Breaks?
Streaks encourage members to watch content daily, but life happens—fitness recovery, study breaks, or personal schedules can interrupt routines.
With Streak Breaks, you can set built-in break days, allowing members to take time off without losing their streaks. This keeps motivation high while preventing burnout.
How Streak Breaks Appear on the Calendar
When Streak Breaks are enabled, the calendar will display:
🟢 Green circles – Days where a member watched a video and extended their streak.
⚪ White circles – Break days, where the streak continues even though no content was watched.
For example, if a 2-day break setting is enabled:
✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch
✅ The streak is maintained because the member never exceeded the allowed break days.
How to Enable Streak Breaks
Go to: Content > Calendar
Open the Streaks & Badges tab
Click Settings
Select the number of streak break days
Default = 0 (no breaks)
Options: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 break days
Recommended: Uscreen suggests 2-day breaks for fitness or learning-based content
Save your changes
💡Important: Streak breaks begin from the day you enable them—they do not apply retroactively.
How Streak Breaks Work
Can members take unlimited breaks?
Yes, but only within the allowed consecutive break days.
For example, if 2 break days are enabled:
✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch
✅ (Streak maintained)
🚫 If a member takes more than 2 consecutive break days, the streak resets.
Do members still earn badges if they take breaks?
Yes, but only for actual watch days.
Example:
✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch → ⚪ Break → ✔ Watch
This counts as a 3-day streak and earns a 3-day badge.
Can you earn a badge on a break day?
🚫 No, badges are awarded only on watch days.
This ensures members don’t earn badges without watching, exercising, or learning.
