Video Notes
Updated over a week ago

Video notes are new feature, planned on web and mobile in later 2024.

Video Notes allow your members record personal textual notes on videos. Noters are just for your members. They is a great option for recording exercise notes, recording thoughts after a meditation, or taking notes while learning educational content. They may help your members feel more engaged and committed to your content

How notes work

  • Members can add 1 or more notes to a video

  • Members can add, edit, and delete notes

  • Members can optionally add a timestamp for a note. Great for referencing a specific point in the video later

  • Members can view their entire list of notes on their profile (on web) or in the account settings (in the mobile apps)

  • Notes are text only. No images or videos.

  • Notes are limited to 3000 characters. Members who need more space can simply add another note.

  • Admins can not read member notes. They are private and just for members. Video comments or community are meant for discussion.

How to Enable Video Notes

The choice to enable Video Notes is up you! Videos notes are disabled by default, so that you make the conscious decision to enable them for your members. Uscreen recommends enabling Video Notes, especially if you have fitness, mindfulness, or educational content.

  • Admin > People > Notes

  • Enable or Disable

  • Disabling notes does not delete you members' notes. You can enable later and members will see any previous notes.
