Uscreen provides powerful tools to help you experience your site from multiple viewpoints.

Whether you need to test new features, troubleshoot issues, or simply understand different user journeys better, you can view your storefront as an admin with full access, as a guest visitor, or by impersonating specific users to see their personalized experience.

View as an Admin

When you click on the Storefront button, you'll have access to all content. To view your site through the storefront access:

  1. Navigate to Website

  2. You will view your site in Edit Mode

💡 TIP: You can also click on the X button in your side panel to close it and get a better view of your site.

View as a Guest

Impersonate a User

When you impersonate a user, you will only have access to the content that the specific user has access to.

⚠️ WARNING: Be careful when impersonating users. Any changes you make while impersonating a user will affect their actual account.

Avoid making edits to user accounts, purchasing subscriptions, or changing settings unless you intend these changes to be permanent for that user.

There are two ways to impersonate a user:

Option 1: From the People Page List

  1. Navigate to People

  2. Find the user you want to impersonate

  3. Click the ellipsis (...) across the user's name

  4. Select "Impersonate" from the dropdown menu

Option 2: From the User's Profile

  1. Navigate to People

  2. Find and click the user's name to view their profile

  3. Click More Actions

  4. Select Impersonate from the dropdown menu

ℹ️ INFO: For privacy and security reasons, certain sensitive information is not fully visible when impersonating users. This includes:

  • Credit card details (only the last 4 digits are visible)

  • Direct messages

  • Private video notes
