Uscreen offers two powerful ways to accept donations: real-time donations during live events and standalone donations across your platform. This feature helps you to receive donations natively on Uscreen, without relying on external tools.

Platform-Wide Donations
Enable a persistent donation option across your storefront and apps.
How to Enable Platform Donations
Go to Settings → Checkout in your Uscreen Admin.
Ensure your store is connected to Stripe to accept donations.
Click on Get started.
(Optional) Enable or disable tax collection for donations.

In mobile apps, donation CTAs open in a browser.

Donations During Live Streaming Events
Let Members contribute in real time while engaging with your live streams.
How to Enable Live Streaming Event Donations
Navigate to Content → Live Streaming in your Admin.
Select the event you'd like to edit.
Under Player Options, enable Live Chat.
Then, toggle Enable Donations below the chat setting.
Note: Donations must be enabled individually for each event.
How Members Donate During a Live Event
Members must be logged in and have access to the event.
In the chat box, click the Donate icon.
Choose a suggested amount or enter a custom amount ($2 minimum).
Add an optional message.
Click Continue and confirm payment.
Tip: Larger donations appear in distinct colors in chat to help them stand out during the stream.
Tracking Donations
View Donation Invoices
Go to Sales → Invoices.
Use More Filters to filter by Donation type.
You can also filter by Author if assigned to a live event.
View by Member
Navigate to a Member's profile under People.
Donations will be labeled with type Donation and show the associated video or event.
Legal and Platform Considerations
All donations must not be in exchange for exclusive access or content.
You are responsible for following local laws related to charitable solicitations and taxation.
Uscreen recommends this feature be used by not-for-profit organizations.
Donations are considered goodwill contributions, not tied to any product or service.
Stripe is required to enable any donation features.
