If it's just you creating all your content, you probably don't need to use our authors' feature. However, if you have multiple people creating content for your site, you can create authors and assign them to videos which will automatically enable an author filter in your catalog.

This will allow your users to filter your content by author and for you to track the viewership of each author in our Analytics features. If you want to pay authors by the amount of view time they get, you can use the view time analytics to set up Revenue Sharing. When uploading a video, you will have the option to add an Author on the Appearance tab. If you want each video to have an author, you will have to add them to each video.
