Adjusting video playback speed gives you control over how fast or slow content plays, helping you learn at your own pace or save time when watching longer videos. Whether you need to slow down detailed instructions or speed through familiar content, this feature makes your viewing experience more flexible and efficient.
ℹ️ INFO: Changing the playback speed only affects how fast the video plays and does not impact the resolution or quality of the video.
Playback Settings on the Web
When watching videos in a web browser, you can easily adjust the playback speed:
Open the video you want to watch
Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the video player controls
Select Playback Settings
Choose your preferred speed
0.5x (half slower)
0.75x (slower)
1x (normal)
1.25x (faster)
1.5x (half faster)
2x (twice as fast)

Playback Rate on Mobile Apps
Open the video you want to watch
Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the video player controls
Select Playback Rate
Choose your preferred speed
0.25 (slowest)
0.5x (half slower)
0.75x (slower)
1.0x (normal)
1.25x (faster)
1.5x (half faster)
2.0x (twice as fast)
On mobile apps (iOS and Android), the video speed setting works differently.
Your selected playback speed is saved and will automatically apply to other videos you watch.
When you switch to another video, it will play at the speed you previously set.
To change the speed, use the same process through the gear icon in the player controls.
📝 NOTE: Some older app versions may have limited playback speed options. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.
