Guide users on how to update their personal information, change their passwords, set the timezone and more

The Profile section of the User Dashboard allows members to manage their personal information, update their account details, and control their security settings. This guide explains how to update your profile information and reset your password.

Access the Profile Page

Guide your customers to access their dashboard by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the website

  2. Click the avatar image (top-right) to access the User Dashboard

  3. Navigate to the Profile tab


My Public Info

In this section, you can update information that is visible to other community members:

  • Profile Photo: Click Change to upload a new image

  • Location: Choose your city from the dropdown menu

ℹ️ INFO: For your profile photo (avatar), we recommend uploading a square image (200px x 200px) in .jpeg, .png, .gif, or .webp format.


My Private Info

This section contains your personal account information:

  • Full Name: Update your display name that appears in the community

  • Email: Change your registered email address

  • Time Format: Choose between 12-hour or 24-hour format

  • Timezone: Select your appropriate time zone

📝 NOTE: Although the Full Name is displayed under the My Private Info section, it is also visible in the Community for other members to see.

After making any changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes to apply the updates.

⚠️ WARNING: Email addresses can only be changed once every 24 hours. Ensure your email is correct, as it's used for important account notifications and password resets.


Secure Sign In

This section allows you to manage your password:

  • Set New Password: Update your current password

  • Choose between:

    • Continue via email: Receive a reset link in your inbox

    • Use existing password: Enter your current password to update directly

Alternative Option

If you've forgotten your password and could not log in, you may reset your password through the Sign-in page.

  1. Go to the Sign In page

  2. Select Sign in with Password

  3. Click Set New Password

  4. Enter your email address in the provided field

  5. Click Send Instructions

  6. Check your inbox for instructions to reset your password

  7. Click the Reset Password link in the email

  8. Enter your new password in the provided field

  9. Click Save New Password

  10. You will see a confirmation message and will be redirected to the home page

📝 NOTE: Password reset links can expire after an hour and are one-time use only. For security reasons, these links are intentionally short-lived, which is why users should click them as soon as they can after the request.

If users take too long to click the link or try to use it multiple times, they will likely receive an error message stating the link is invalid.

Password Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 characters

  • Maximum of 128 characters

  • Case sensitive (uppercase and lowercase letters are treated differently)

  • No restrictions on special characters or spaces


My Notifications

Control which types of notifications you receive by checking or unchecking these options:

  • News & Updates

    • Receive an email about newly published videos and upcoming live streams

  • Promotions

    • Get notified about special offers, discounts, and promotional content

  • Community Updates

    • Stay informed about activity in your community, including new posts, comments, likes, and replies

  • Transactional Emails

    • Essential account-related notifications such as purchase confirmations and subscription updates

📝 NOTE: Transactional emails are mandatory and critical for account management. These critical communications ensure you're informed about important account activities.


Danger Zone

This section contains actions that have significant consequences:

  • Delete My Account: Permanently remove your account and all associated data

⚠️ WARNING: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your personal information, purchase history, and content access will be removed.


FAQs

Will updating my profile information affect my subscription?

No, updating your profile information does not affect your subscription or past purchases.

What should I do if my changes don't save?

Try refreshing the page or restarting the app. If issues persist, check your internet connection or try using a different device or browser.

What if I entered the wrong email when signing up?

If you can still access your account, update your email in your profile settings. If you can't log in, contact support for assistance.

Can I change my password through the mobile app?

Yes, you can reset your password via the mobile apps through the Account tab. Select Sign In and follow the password reset process.

What if I'm not receiving the password reset email?

Check your spam or junk folders. If you still don't see it, verify you're using the correct email address or contact support for help.

What happens when I delete my account?

When you delete your account, all your personal information, purchase history, and content access will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone, so please consider carefully before proceeding.
