Why Organization Accounts are Required
Enrolling as an Organization provides the necessary infrastructure for Uscreen to professionally manage your apps.
Automatic Updates: Organization accounts allow Uscreen to automatically push new features and updates to your app.
Enhanced Security: You can safely invite the Uscreen team to your account with specific roles, without ever sharing your personal login credentials.
Consistent Branding: Your legal business name will appear in the App Store, building trust with your audience.
Note: Individual accounts have limited capabilities, lack automated update support, and are not intended for use with Uscreen. If you currently have an Individual account, you must convert it to an Organization account.
How to convert your individual account to Business
Unlike Google Play, Apple allows you to migrate an existing Individual account to an Organization account. Follow these steps to submit a change request:
Ensure your business is registered and you have a valid D-U-N-S Number and Tax ID.
Sign in to your Apple Developer account.
Access the change request form to initiate the migration.
Provide the necessary business information and verify your identity.
Wait for processing. This process typically takes several days to complete.
Grant Uscreen access. Once your account is converted, invite Uscreen to your account via App Store Connect. (Note: If you previously granted access, remove it and re-add Uscreen to your new Organization account).
