FAQ / Troubleshooting
Can I update the page name or URL? Yes, you can change your page name and URL at any time in the editor view. However, make sure you haven't already shared your old URL with your audience because the old URL will no longer work once you update the URL for your page.
How do I make a banner? If you have a Youtube channel, you can use the same banner for your Youtube page. You can also easily create a banner from existing templates when you use a tool like Canva.
What should I promote in external links? You can promote your other channels, physical products (e.g. books, fitness equipments, etc), or any other services you offer. External links are completely optional, so you can also choose not to share any links.
I created a series but it's not showing up on this page. When you upload videos to a series, it isn't published yet so it's not visible to the public. In order to publish your series, you have to connect your Stripe account and toggle your series' visibility to public.
Go to your series editor page (from this page, click "View as Editor" > click the title of your series) and check for either a "connect your stripe account" call-out or "visible to the public" toggle. You need to connect Stripe before the visible to the public toggle appears.OR
What if I don't have a Stripe account? You can create a new Stripe account for free.
Editing your Series Page
Your series page consists of a video playlist with up to 10 videos. Each video comes with its own title, description, thumbnail, and downloadables. The first video of every series is always free. Treat this video as an introduction to yourself and the series.
💡 When using this product, click "View as Editor" to edit your series page. The changes are auto-saved. You can click "View as Visitor" to see the changes you made.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
What if my series need more than 10 videos? At this point, we only support up to 10 videos. We would encourage you to condense your content into a focused series that only need 10 videos.
Is there a length limit to the videos? No, you can upload videos of any length. Keep in mind that longer videos can be less engaging. One of our most popular series keep their videos under 5-10 minutes.
Can I make more than one video free? Yes. While we recommend starting with one free video to attract viewers, you can make multiple videos free by toggling off the "paid only" option for each video.
Are downloadables only available after viewers purchase the series? The downloadables on a free video are always available publicly without requiring a purchase. The downloadables on a paid video are gated behind a purchase.
Can I attach a transcript of my videos in case viewers want to learn by reading vs watching? Yes, you can either attach transcripts as PDF downloadables to each video or attach a PDF to each video that include a Google Drive or Dropbox link to a folder of transcripts.
Checkout Experience
Visitors can start the checkout process for your series by clicking "Get full access" in the header of the free video or on any of the paid videos.
OR
Once they start the checkout process, they'll fill out their email address on the first screen before putting in their credit card information on the second screen.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
How do I get paid for each purchase? When someone purchases your series, your revenue goes directly into your Stripe account after the transaction is complete.
How much will I get paid per purchase? You will get the full price of the series in your account minus a Stripe transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) and a Uscreen transaction fee (5% per transaction).
How do my users access the series they purchased? Users can access their purchased series by going to link.uscreen.io and logging in with the email address they used during the purchase. Once logged in and go to the series page again, they can continue watching the videos in the series.
How do I see my leads and purchases? Go to your bio page and view it as an editor. You should see a "Customers" tab that shows a record of purchases and a "Leads" tab that displays people who have entered their emails but didn't complete the checkout process.
