This system helps keep your dashboard clean by hiding users who are flagged as likely being spam accounts. These accounts could include bots, card testers, or other types of spammers.
Why We Hide Certain Users
We know how important it is to get an accurate view of your users and their activity. Spam users make it difficult to distinguish real activity from illegitimate. Spam users can create misleading trends, particularly within lead-generating features such as Giveaway Funnels. We want you to be confident in the data presented by these powerful features.
In order to keep this lead data meaningful, and to keep your workspace clean and free from spam, Uscreen will automatically hide users who appear suspicious based on a combination of signals.
What Triggers a Spam Classification?
A user may be flagged as spam if they meet multiple criteria that suggest suspicious or non-human activity. While there are many factors that go into determining whether a user is classified as spam, some examples include:
Arriving at your store from an unusual source
Registering with a suspicious email address
💡No single factor automatically flags a user as spam - spam account classification is always determined by a combination of signals.
When Users Are No Longer Marked as Spam
While uncommon, legitimate users can sometimes be incorrectly flagged by our system. To address this, Uscreen continuously evaluates end-users and their activity. A user will be unmarked as spam automatically once they begin genuine activity, such as:
Paying an invoice (note that free trials do not count)
Actively engaging with your content
