Live Streaming has just become better! When you create a live stream and users watch it through their Uscreen account, you can now have a report of your attendees after it has ended.
The Attendees Report will help you track who watched the event and how long they watched across your website and mobile apps (version 3.0 or higher).
Once you create a live stream and go live, Uscreen tracks all users who are signed in and have watched it for more than one minute. The information for users who don't watch for at least one minute will not be included in the report.
After finishing your live stream, Uscreen will start processing the list to pull the data and provide the report.
Access the Attendees Report
To access the report, navigate to Content > Live Streaming.
If the stream has just ended, the Processing status will be displayed, and the Attendees button will be grayed out.
INFO: It normally takes around an hour for the report to be ready, while in rare cases, it can take up to 48 hours.
After the report is ready, you will see the Finished status, and the Attendees button will now be accessible. You can now view the report!
Click Attendees, and all those who attended will be listed. If you want to export the list, click on Export CSV.
You may then find the exported list in Settings > Exported Files. Click Download across the Attendees Report, and the file will be saved in your local storage.
TIP: If you have created a free live stream, the Attendees Report will only contain the details of those who were signed in while watching the stream.
So, if you still want to offer a free live stream, but also want to know who has attended it, you can create a free live stream that requires people to create an account and sign in.
Exported CSV Attendees Report
The report should include the following columns:
User ID
Name
Email
Watch Time (in seconds)
By doing this with your live streams, you can learn which users are often watching your streams and how successful the streams are.
NOTE: If you would like to have these reports for TV apps or need more details added to these reports, please submit a feature request so we know it's something you are interested in.
