Make a Live Event Free
Updated over a week ago

If you would like anyone to access your live event, you can always make it free. To do so, navigate to Content, go to Live Events, choose which live event you want to make free, and click Edit. Under the Pricing tab, select Free for Everyone and Save.

However, if you would like to provide a live event for free and want users to sign up/sign in to access it, we recommend changing your pricing from Free to everyone to Require access. It will help you know who is watching your event and obtain their contact information.

To require access, navigate to Content, go to Live Events, select the live event you want to make free, and then click Edit. Under the Pricing tab, click Require access, leave the Subscription plan as Choose plan, and leave all the pricing options unchecked, then click Save. Lastly, add it to a freebie bundle. That way, when a user clicks on the Live Event to Get Access, they will instead be able to claim the freebie bundle by signing up—if they don't already have an account—without having to pay or subscribe to your service.

If you want users to participate in the live chat, encourage your users to sign in (or use the freebie bundle approach, which requires access to view the event despite it being free) so that they can engage with you and others watching the event.

NOTE: Additional fees may apply when offering free live events. Please, be sure to contact your account manager or our support team prior to launching any free live events.
