Cancel Your Uscreen Account

We understand that circumstances change, and sometimes you may need to cancel your Uscreen account. This guide will walk you through the cancellation process based on your plan type and explain what happens to your data and subscribers after cancellation.

Before You Cancel

We recommend taking these important steps before proceeding with cancellation:

  1. Back up your content: Download and save any videos, images, or other content you've uploaded to the platform

  2. Export your subscriber data: Go to the People section and export a CSV of your subscriber information for your records

  3. Manage your members' subscriptions: Consider whether to cancel all subscriptions or communicate with your members about the upcoming changes

  4. Download analytics reports: Export any analytics data you may need for future reference

Offboarding Support

  • Stores are solely responsible for migrating any data they wish to off the platform

  • We currently do not provide direct offboarding support

⚠️ WARNING: Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to your content or subscriber data through Uscreen.


How to Cancel Your Account

Growth Plan

To cancel your Growth plan, navigate to Billing:

  1. Click Manage Plan

    or View Invoices & Billing Details

  2. Select Cancel Subscription

Premium Plans (Plus, App Essentials)

If you're on a Plus or App Essentials plan:

ℹ️ INFO: Your Uscreen account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.


After You Cancel

What Happens to Your Data?

  • 60-Day Grace Period: We retain your uploads and account data for 60 days following cancellation.

  • If you change your mind during this period, we can reinstate your account with all your original data intact.

  • After 60 days, your account and data will be permanently deleted.

What Happens to Your Subscribers?

If you use Stripe as your payment gateway:

  • Subscriptions are fully owned and controlled by Stripe, not Uscreen

  • You retain ownership of your customers, their payment details, and their subscriptions in Stripe

  • You'll need to decide whether to keep subscriptions active or pause/cancel them within your Stripe account

💡 TIP: Make sure you give users advance notice to avoid misunderstandings.

FAQs

Can I reactivate my Uscreen account?

You can reactivate your account by signing into your Account and going to Billing. There, you can click on Reactivate to prevent account closure and deletion.

If your account was closed more than 60 days ago and you're unable to sign back in, your account might have been deleted.

You can create a brand new account to get started again.

Can I pause my Uscreen account instead of canceling?

At this time, we do not offer the ability to pause your Uscreen account subscription for any period of time. If you're unsure about canceling, we recommend reaching out for assistance with exploring other options.
