The templates we have created are meant to help you automate the communication with your users like order confirmation, overdue notice, refund confirmation, etc. So you can always change how any of our email templates are worded and if they are enabled or not. It is up to you what communication your users will receive from your site.
However, we recommend proceeding cautiously as some emails, like the refund confirmation, are pretty core to the functionality of a customer requesting a refund.
To disable email notifications for users, navigate to Settings, go to Email Templates, find the email template you want disabled and click Edit. When the template appears, toggle the box next to Active to disable it. The box needs to be white for it to be disabled. Lastly, click on Save so it stays disabled.
