View or Cancel In-App Subscriptions

Help your subscribers easily manage their app store purchases with these simple steps

All payments for in-app subscriptions are processed through app stores (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku) and cannot be managed through the Uscreen dashboard.

This guide helps you support your members in viewing and canceling their in-app subscriptions.

Important Information

  • Admins cannot cancel in-app subscriptions on behalf of the members

  • Refunds for in-app purchases must be requested directly from the app store

โš ๏ธ WARNING: Any changes to a user's in-app subscription MUST be made by the user themselves through their devices.


Platform-Specific Instructions

Viewing & Canceling on Apple

  1. Open the Settings app on your device

  2. Tap your name at the top

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Select the subscription you want to manage

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription to end your subscription

Viewing & Canceling on Android

  1. Open the Google Play app

  2. Tap the profile icon (top right)

  3. Go to Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions

  4. Select your app subscription

  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts

๐Ÿ“ NOTE: Deleting the app or account will not cancel the in-app subscription. The member must cancel through the app store to stop future charges.

Viewing & Canceling on Amazon

  1. Cancel directly from your Fire TV or go to Your Account using a web browser

  2. Select Digital Services and Device Support

  3. At the top of the page, select the Preferences or Your Apps tab

    • Depending on your App Store region

  4. Look for Appstore Subscriptions or Manage Subscriptions

  5. Locate the specific subscription (e.g., the Fire TV app)

  6. Click Cancel Subscription or Turn Off Auto-Renewal

Viewing & Canceling on Roku

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote

  2. Navigate to the channel you want to check

  3. Press the star star button on Roku remote button on your remote

  4. Select Manage Subscription

  5. Select Turn Off Auto-Renew and confirm

โ„น๏ธ INFO: After successful cancellation, it stops the auto-renewal, and the member will retain access until the end of their current billing period.


Requesting Refunds

Refunds for in-app subscriptions must be requested directly from the app store.

FAQs

Can I view or cancel my in-app subscription through your website?

You may view the details of the subscription, but it has to be canceled directly through the app store where the purchase was made.

Why can't you cancel my in-app subscription for me?

The billing of in-app subscriptions is managed by the app stores (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku). We do not have access to the billing information or the ability to manage these subscriptions.
