Boost App Ratings with User Reviews

Increase your app's visibility and credibility by encouraging users to share their positive experiences

Updated yesterday

Collecting app reviews is essential for growing your audience and improving your app's performance. Positive ratings not only help new users discover your app in crowded app stores but also provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement.

Why App Reviews Matter

Positive mobile app reviews provide valuable social proof that validates your content and business. They can:

  • Increase your app's visibility in app stores through better rankings

  • Provide marketing materials and testimonials for your website

  • Offer critical feedback to help you improve your app

  • Build credibility with potential subscribers

ℹ️ INFO: Uscreen offers simple yet effective methods to encourage your subscribers to leave reviews, helping you build social proof and strengthen your app's reputation.

Collecting Reviews

Uscreen offers two complementary methods to encourage app reviews:

Show the "Rate the App" Link

This adds a permanent link in the mobile app's account settings that allows users to rate your app at any time.

  • Appears in the More > Account section of your app

  • Provides a non-intrusive way for satisfied users to leave reviews

  • Links directly to your app's listing in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

Automatic Review Prompts

This feature automatically prompts active subscribers who have been using your app for four months or more to leave a review. The prompt appears on the Catalog screen and uses standard iOS or Android system review prompts.

  • Prompts appear every 120 days

  • Only shows to users who have enabled review prompts in their device settings

  • Targets long-term subscribers who are more likely to leave positive reviews

Enable the Review Features

Activate the Rate the App Link & Automatic Review Prompt

  1. Navigate to Mobile & TV Apps

  2. Click on Preferences

  3. Enable the options you require

  4. Click Save

💡 TIP: You can enable both features simultaneously for maximum effectiveness. The automatic prompts target engaged subscribers, while the settings link is available for anyone who wants to leave feedback.

Important Notes

  • The "Rate the app" link appears after a few minutes of enabling the feature

  • Automatic prompts will only appear to users who meet the criteria (4+ months of active subscription)

  • If the option does not appear, you may need to request an app update, reopen, or refresh the app
