Setting Up Your Live Studio
Step 1: Create Your Live Event
Navigate to Content > Live Streaming
Click on Add New
Choose the Live Studio option
Step 2: Configure Event Details
Enter a compelling Title and Description for your event
Organize your stream by selecting appropriate Categories and an Author
Upload a custom Thumbnail to attract viewers
Step 3: Set Schedule and Access Options
Select the Start Date and Time of the event
Choose your Access and Purchase Options
Make it available to active subscribers
Allow one-time purchase access
Set it as free for all users
Step 4: Enable Engagement Features
Toggle Live Chat to allow viewers to interact during your stream
Enable Donations if you want to accept contributions
Set any other additional options as needed

Step 5: Publish Your Event
Set Visibility to Published to make it available in your catalog
Click Save Changes
π NOTE: Double-check all your settings before going live. Make sure your event visibility is set to Published and verify your Access settings to ensure the right audience can view your stream.
Going Live
When you're ready to start your live stream:
Navigate to Content > Live Streaming
Find your event and click Enter Studio
Allow access to your camera and microphone when prompted by your browser
Adjust your camera and microphone settings as needed
Click Go Live
and confirm when ready
Using Live Studio Features
Camera and Microphone Controls
Toggle your camera on/off using the camera icon
Mute/unmute your microphone using the microphone icon
Select a different camera or audio source if you have multiple devices connected

Screen Sharing
During your live stream, you can share your screen with viewers:
Click Share Screen
inside the live studio
Select which window or application you want to share
Click Share
Your viewers will see both you and your shared screen, with your camera view moved to the corner
π NOTE: The screen sharing option only appears after you've gone live.
Viewer Engagement
View the list of active viewers by toggling the viewer list
Engage with your audience through live chat
Share your live stream URL by clicking Share Live Stream
at the top right
Ending Your Live Stream
When you're ready to conclude your live event:
Click End Live
in the studio interface to stop broadcasting
Confirm your decision in the prompt that appears
Your stream will immediately stop for all viewers
The system will begin processing your recording automatically
If you accidentally close the studio window without ending the stream:
Return to Content > Live Streaming
Find your active event
Click Finish Event
to end the stream
π NOTE: Make sure to properly end your live stream to ensure your recording is processed correctly and your streaming minutes are accurately tracked.
After Your Live Stream
Once you end your live stream:
Your recording will be automatically processed and saved
Navigate to Content > Videos to find the recording (initially unpublished)
Edit the recording if needed before publishing it to your catalog
You can also replace the recording with an edited version using the Replace option

Currently, it's not possible to co-host a live stream with Uscreen Studio. You are limited to one host and one camera input. If you need a more advanced setup with multiple hosts, we recommend using a third-party tool like OBS Studio.

Yes, you can use an external webcam with Uscreen Live Studio. When you enter the studio, your browser will ask for permission to access your camera, and you can select your external webcam from the dropdown menu.

Make sure you've activated the microphone icon below the player inside the studio, as it might be turned off by default. Also, check that you've granted microphone permissions to your browser.
