What Happened?
As of December 1st, 2024, we decommissioned our old server infrastructure. If you didn’t migrate your custom domain before the deadline, it has been removed from your Uscreen site, and your store is now using a temporary Uscreen subdomain.
To restore your custom domain, you’ll need to follow the process outlined below.
Why Do I Need to Restore My Custom Domain?
If you haven’t restored your custom domain, your site is currently using a temporary Uscreen subdomain (e.g., yourbusiness.uscreen.io). Restoring your custom domain is important to:
Your domain isn't working: Your custom domain won't lead to your Uscreen storefront until you restore your custom domain.
Reestablish your branding: A custom domain ensures your customers recognize your site as part of your business.
Enable secure connections: Reconnecting your domain issues an updated SSL certificate, providing a secure browsing experience for your users.
Next Steps
Next, you'll need to add your custom domain to Uscreen. Please follow our guide on adding a custom domain to Uscreen.
Frequently Asked Questions

If you do not manage your DNS records we recommend connecting with the teammate who does. You should work with them on creating the necessary DNS records.
Can Support Help Me?
Our support team can help, though please do know that our team is unable to access your DNS settings for you. We also cannot speed up the process. Rest assured that your site will not experience downtime during this process, but that it will take hours to complete.
I am getting an error message that says A-Record is not set
If you're doing the quick migration method and see an error that states the A-Record is not set, this could be from a couple of different reasons
You need to allow more time for propagation to occur. This is dependent on your DNS host. Please contact your DNS host to inquire about why the record is not propagating after a few hours of this error.
You have conflicting A-records that are preventing our system from detecting your A-record. Be sure that you have removed the old A-record as well.
