🎬 Content

Content

The umbrella term for anything you upload or stream: videos, collections, and livestreams

An individual piece of video content uploaded to your platform

A curated group of related videos organized into a playlist or course

A real-time streaming session scheduled for a specific date and time

A way to organize your content into logical groups, which show up as sections in your Catalog

Your main content library where all your published videos, collections, and live events live

The preview image that represents a piece of content in your Catalog

A video set to publish automatically on a future date and time

The label shown on scheduled videos before their release date is visible to members in the Catalog

A short clip of a video shown to non-members to give them a taste of your content and encourage sign-ups

A private note-taking feature that lets members jot down thoughts while watching your videos, where only they can see their notes

A feature that lets you upload multiple audio tracks to a single video (e.g., different languages)

Downloadable files (PDFs, worksheets, etc.) you can attach to individual videos

A content creator profile you can assign to videos and collections

Time-limited access to a piece of content for a one-time fee

A set number of days a new member can access your subscription content before being charged

A feature that automatically displays prices in a visitor's local currency

A subscription type that gives multiple members access under a single purchase, which is great for organizations, teams, or businesses

Coaching

A feature that lets creators sell scheduled private sessions directly from their store, with Zoom integration and automatic recording ingestion into the video library

Member

A customer who has an active subscription and pays to access your content

Lead

A user who has given you their email but hasn't purchased a subscription yet

End-user

A general term for the people who use and watch your content

Admin

A team member with full control and management rights over your store

Custom labels you can apply to members to organize, segment, and target your audience

Display Name

A public-facing nickname a member can set to appear in Community posts and comments instead of their full name

Group Manager

A member of a Group Subscription who can add or remove other members from the group, without having full admin access

An app user who made an in-app purchase without creating an account. Also known as an Anonymous User

Storefront

Your public-facing website where members sign up, browse, and watch your content

Theme

A pre-designed template that shapes the overall look and feel of your storefront

A drag-and-drop editor for creating custom pages on your storefront

Link in Bio

A shareable page that brings together your key links and content offers in one place, which is perfect for social media profiles

The menu system that helps visitors find their way around your site

Your web address (e.g., mysite.com) and what people type to find your storefront

Subdomain

A prefix added to your root domain (e.g., watch.mysite.com), which is ideal when you want to keep your Uscreen store separate from your main website

The security technology that encrypts your site and shows the padlock icon in browsers. Uscreen provides this automatically

CDN (Content Delivery Network)

A global network of servers that delivers your videos quickly to viewers worldwide. Uscreen handles this for you
