What is the Catalog?

Manage and showcase your videos, collections, and live streams in one place

Updated this week

The catalog is your content gateway, the central hub where all your purchasable content is displayed to your customers. It serves as the main navigation point for members to discover and access your videos, collections, and live events.

Content Display in the Catalog

For content to appear in your catalog, you need to:

  1. Assign at least one category

  2. Publish the video or collection

ℹ️ INFO: The catalog is designed to be intuitive and familiar to users, similar to popular streaming platforms like Netflix. It creates a professional browsing experience that helps your members discover and engage with your content.

Customize the Catalog

You can customize your catalog through the Website section of your admin area:

  1. Navigate to Website

  2. Open the website editor side panel

  3. Click on Catalog

  4. Select the options you want enabled

  5. Click Save & apply

📝 NOTE: Along with other common pages, the Catalog is kept as optimized and secured as possible. Native customizations are limited, and for advanced modifications, you may need to consult with a developer.

Mobile and TV Apps

The catalog experience extends to your mobile and TV apps, with some variations:

  • Mobile apps display categories and content in a similar format to the web

  • TV apps have a streamlined interface optimized for remote navigation

  • Featured category sliders are not available on TV apps

💡 TIP: Remember that the catalog is the heart of your content business. Organizing it effectively will enhance your members' experience and help them find the content they love.
