Calendar: A Complete Guide

Keep your audience engaged by providing a clear schedule of upcoming videos and live events

Updated this week

The Calendar is a powerful tool that helps your members discover content, follow your programming schedule, and build consistent viewing habits.

This feature is excellent for encouraging your audience to return for your latest scheduled content. It also guides them on what to watch and when, which is especially helpful for those with a very large catalog or members unsure of where to start.

📝 NOTE: The Calendar feature is available for Uscreen Plus. If you're not currently on this plan, please get in touch with sales@uscreen.tv to discuss an upgrade.

  • Scroll through days and weeks

  • Tap on content to view details

  • See visual indicators for completed videos and live events

ℹ️ INFO: Calendars, including user-added content, synchronize between web and mobile apps!

FAQs

Can I add collections to the calendar?

Collections cannot be added to the calendar. Only individual videos and live events can be added to specific dates.

Can I reorder videos on the calendar?

Currently, videos display in the order they are added to the calendar. There is no drag-and-drop support to reorder them.

Can I remove a finished live event from the calendar?

Since live events are automatically added when scheduled, the finished event may not be removed from the Calendar. A workaround is to delete the content (live stream) itself.

Do admins receive calendar notifications?

Admins will not receive calendar event notifications. These notifications are designed for members only.

Can I change the calendar start day of the week?

Currently, there is no feature to change the calendar start day in Uscreen.

Can members get notifications for videos they add to their calendar?

Currently, push notifications are only sent for events set by an admin. If a user adds a video to their calendar, they won't get notified of it.

Can I create multiple calendars for different purposes?

Uscreen doesn't offer the ability to create multiple calendars, like 7-day or 30-day calendars. As an admin, you can only modify one site-wide calendar that appears for all users.
