Google Calendar Integration

Sync your Uscreen events with Google Calendar so your members never miss a session

Updated today

Connect your Google Calendar to Uscreen to automatically sync your scheduled events directly to your calendar.

This makes it easy to stay organized and keep track of everything happening on your platform.

Where Google Calendar Is Used

Once connected, Google Calendar works with the following Uscreen features:

Scheduled Live Events: Members who preregister for a live event can have it added to their Google Calendar, so they're reminded when the event is about to start.

Scheduled Video Releases: Videos scheduled for a future release date can sync to Google Calendar, helping creators and members stay on top of upcoming content.

Connect Google Calendar to Uscreen

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations

  2. Find the Google Calendar card in your list of integrations

  3. Click Connect

  4. A Google sign-in window will appear

    • Sign in with the Google account you want to connect

  5. Grant Uscreen permission to access your Google Calendar

  6. Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Uscreen, and a success confirmation will appear

Result: Your Google Calendar is now connected to Uscreen. You'll see the card update to show the connected status.

💡 TIP: Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account before authorizing. If you have multiple Google accounts, double-check which one is active in your browser.

Disconnect Google Calendar from Uscreen

If you need to disconnect the integration:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations

  2. Find the Google Calendar card

  3. Click Manage Connection (or the settings option on the card)

  4. Select Disconnect

ℹ️ INFO: Disconnecting will stop any future syncing between Uscreen and Google Calendar. Events that were already added to your calendar will remain unless manually removed.

Troubleshooting

Connection Errors

If you encounter an error when trying to connect:

  • Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browser, as Google's OAuth sign-in requires them.

  • Try using an incognito/private window to rule out browser extension conflicts.

  • Clear your browser cache and try again.

  • Ensure you're granting all the requested permissions during the Google authorization step.

Reconnecting After an Expired Authorization

If your Google Calendar connection stops working, it may be because the authorization has expired. When this happens:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations

  2. The Google Calendar card may show an Action required prompt

  3. Click the prompt to re-authorize your Google account

  4. Sign in and grant permissions again

Result: Your connection will be restored, and syncing will resume.

FAQs

Which Google Calendar is used for syncing?

The integration connects to the primary calendar of the Google account you authorize. Make sure to sign in with the account that has the calendar you want to use.
