Manage Your Storage Limit

Keep your content flowing by monitoring and optimizing your storage space

Your Uscreen account comes with a specific video storage limit based on your selected plan.

Understanding how to check, manage, and optimize this limit is essential for maintaining your video library and ensuring you can continue uploading new content.

Review Your Storage Details

  1. Log in to your Uscreen account

  2. Click your profile icon in the lower-left corner of the Admin Area

  3. Select Billing from the menu

  4. On the Billing page, you’ll see your Video Storage usage and the total limit for your plan

    • As well as the live stream storage

📝 NOTE: Storage is measured in minutes, not file size.


Free Up Storage Space

When you delete videos, the storage space will be freed up in your account's storage limit. This process releases the minutes associated with the deleted videos from your total usage.

If you might need the video in the future, consider unpublishing instead of deleting it completely.

⚠️ WARNING: There might be a slight delay in updating your storage usage display after deleting videos. While the system technically frees up space immediately, it may take a short time before the changes are reflected in your storage metrics.

FAQs

How is storage measured?

Storage is measured in minutes, not file size. This means a 10-minute video counts as 10 minutes toward your storage quota, regardless of the video's resolution or file size.

Does unpublishing videos free up storage space?

No. All uploaded content counts toward your storage limit regardless of its publication status. You must completely delete videos to release storage space.

How do I delete videos to free up space?

You can delete videos individually or in bulk by going to Content > Videos and using the delete options. 🔗 Learn more about Deleting Videos

What happens to my collections when I delete videos?

Deleting a video will permanently remove it and all associated details, removing it from any collections it has been included in.

Can I add more storage to my plan?

Yes! Contact our Sales team via the Talk to us button on your Billing page to discuss additional storage options for your plan.

Do user-generated videos in Community count toward my storage?

Does live streaming use my video storage?

Each plan includes a monthly allotment of live streaming minutes. Live stream recordings are automatically saved to your content library and do count toward your video storage quota.
