Group and sequence videos in a Collection Playlist for better engagement

Updated this week

Collection Playlist enables you to present your videos in a specific order and allows members to play them sequentially, making it easy for viewers to follow along with a course, series, or themed content.

By customizing the playlist, you can guide your audience through a structured viewing journey that keeps them engaged and improves content retention.

Playlist Position

The Collection Playlist can be displayed in two types of layouts.

On the right of the player

With this layout, the videos in the collection playlist are positioned to the right of the video player, showing the video thumbnail, title, duration, and short description.

Below the player

With this layout, the videos in the collection playlist are placed underneath the video player, showing the video thumbnail, title, duration, and short description.

INFO: The description, categories, tags, resources, and comments, shown below the player in the Collection Playlist page, are dynamic and based on the current video selected from the playlist.

The same goes for the options Add to Calendar and Add to Favorites. Clicking these options will only select the current video, and not the entire collection.

Group and Label by Dividers

Section dividers in collections are used to segment videos into logical sections, helping organize videos that are meant to be watched together or in a specific order.

Each divider can be named or labeled.

They can function as visual separators that create a structured viewing experience and serve as guides to separate content by days, weeks, themes, or other segments, making it easier for viewers to follow the structure of your course or collection.

TIP: There is no limit to the number of dividers that can be inserted. Label and place them strategically to group videos within the playlist.

Order of Videos within the Playlist

After adding the videos to your Playlist, you can organize them along with any dividers you've added, in the order that you want them to be played.

Scroll down to the Playlist and Drip Settings section. Drag the handles and drop them to your desired position. Be sure to click Save when done.
