What is Link in Bio

Link in Bio is a shareable landing page, similar to Linktree or Stan, but fully integrated with your Uscreen products and storefront.

It's designed to help you start selling immediately with just a link, without needing to build out a full storefront or website first.

ℹ️ INFO: Your Link in Bio page lives at a URL like yourdomain.com/links and can be shared anywhere: Instagram bio, TikTok profile, YouTube description, email signature, and more.

Key Benefits

  • Start selling faster: Share your products with a single link, no website required

  • Centralize your online presence: One page for all your important links

  • Native Uscreen integration: Products link directly to checkout or your catalog

  • Fully customizable: Match your brand with custom colors, themes, and button styles

  • Perfect for social media: Ideal for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms where you can only share one link

ℹ️

📝 NOTE: The Description field is only available when editing an item (click the pencil icon). It won’t appear during the initial Add Item step.

✏️

How Descriptions Appear on your Link in Bio Page

When a visitor taps an item card, a detail view opens that displays the item’s image, title, full description, price, and CTA button(s).

This keeps the main list clean while still letting you share full context when someone taps into an item.

ℹ️ INFO: By default, Link in Bio pulls the description from the item’s source:

  • Products (Videos): uses the video’s Short Description

  • Coaching sessions: use the coaching session’s Description

When editing an item, you can keep the default description or switch to a Custom description.

Tips & Best Practices

Keep It Focused

  • Highlight your best offers at the top of your page

  • Limit the number of links to avoid overwhelming visitors (5-7 links is ideal)

  • Use clear, action-oriented button text (e.g., "Start Free Trial", "Watch Now")

Track Your Traffic

ℹ️ INFO: Product links and CTA buttons on your Link in Bio page automatically include UTM parameters (utm_source=link_in_bio, utm_medium=referral, utm_campaign=link_in_bio). This means you can see Link in Bio traffic in your analytics tools without any extra setup. Custom URL links are not affected, and if you provide your own URLs, Uscreen will not append tracking parameters to them.

  • Use UTM parameters to track which platforms drive the most traffic

    • Instagram: ?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bio

    • TikTok: ?utm_source=tiktok&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bio

    • YouTube: ?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bio

  • Test different link orders to see what performs best

  • Monitor which products get the most clicks (once analytics are available)

Update Regularly

  • Refresh your links seasonally or for special promotions

  • Test different CTAs to see what resonates with your audience

  • Keep your profile image and colors aligned with your current branding

Leverage Social Proof

  • Link to your most popular content first

  • Use social media icons to build credibility

  • Consider adding testimonials or reviews to your product descriptions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Link in Bio available on all plans?

Link in Bio is currently in Beta release. Check your account settings or contact support to confirm availability for your plan.

Can I have multiple Link in Bio pages?

Currently, each Uscreen account has one Link in Bio page. You can customize and update it as needed.

Can I customize the URL of my Link in Bio page?

Your Link in Bio page URL is based on your store name: yourdomain.com/links. Custom URL for Link in Bio may be available in the future.

Is there a limit on how many links or products I can add?

There's no strict limit, but we recommend keeping your page focused with 5-7 key links for the best user experience.

Can I reorder my links after adding them?

Yes! You can drag and drop items to reorder them at any time. Just click "Save" to apply the new order.

Why is my social link not saving?

Social links must use the actual URL from the platform (for example, your real Instagram or YouTube profile link). Redirect links, link shorteners like bit.ly, or URLs from a different domain won't be accepted. If you're seeing an error, double-check that you've pasted the correct profile URL.

Can I write a different description for the same product when it’s added to Link in Bio?

Yes. You can either use the product’s existing description or write a custom description for that specific Link in Bio item.

Do I have to add a description?

Not necessarily, as descriptions are optional, but they can certainly help visitors understand what they’re clicking before they take action.
