How to Revoke User Access to Content

Learn about revoking access to content for your end-users.

On occasion, you might want to revoke access to certain or all content that a user has been accessing. Since there are various types of content, we’ll discuss how to remove access for subscriptions, bundles, or individual content.


Step 1: Access User Profile:

Navigate to the People tab, locate the user, and click Edit.

Step 2: Revoke Access to Content

Depending on what you're revoking the instructions will vary. See the different options below.

Remove Subscription Access

  • Under Manage membership click on

    • Cancel Membership to cancel their current subscription and revoke access at the end of the current billing period.

    • OR

    • End membership which will end their subscription and revoke access immediately.

Remove Content Access

  • If you granted access to content directly, you can scroll down to the Content Access section in their profile and click on item selected drop-down menu

  • You can deselect specific content you wish to revoke access to or you can click on the X icon to remove all content with one click.

Revoke Bundle Access

  • If you granted access to a bundle directly, you can scroll down to the Bundle Access section in their profile and click on item selected drop-down menu

  • You can deselect the specific bundle you wish to revoke access to or you can click on the X icon to remove all bundles with one click.
