Store Name & Branding

Establish a strong brand identity across your Uscreen platform

Updated over a week ago

Your store name and branding elements create the first impression for your audience. When you first create your Uscreen store, you set an initial store name, but you can update it anytime as your brand evolves.

This guide covers how to update your store name, website name display, and favicon to ensure a consistent brand identity across your Uscreen platform.

Changing the Store Name

There are two ways to update your store name in Uscreen.

Option 1: General Settings

Your store name appears in browser tabs and is used in system-generated emails.

To change it:

  1. Navigate to Settings > General

  2. Edit the Store Name field

  3. Click Save

Option 2: Website Branding

If you don't have a logo uploaded, your website name will display in the header.

To update this:

  1. Navigate to Website

  2. Under Branding, scroll down to the Logo section

  3. Enter your desired Website Name

  4. Click Save & Apply

ℹ️ INFO: Changing the store name doesn't change or affect the domain of the storefront. If you want your domain to match your new store name, you'll need to update that separately in Domain Settings.

Adding or Changing the Favicon

The favicon is the small icon that appears in browser tabs and bookmarks.

  1. Navigate to Website

  2. Under Branding, scroll down to the Logo section

  3. Drag and drop, or click to select the image to upload

    • Upload a 192x192px .ico or .png file (max 100 MB)

  4. Click Save & Apply

💡 TIP: For best results, use a simple, recognizable icon that represents your brand. A square image with a transparent background works best.

Where the Store Name & Favicon Appear

Your store name and favicon are visible in several key places:

  • Bookmarks: When users save your site, they'll see your favicon and store name

  • Search results: Some search engines display your favicon next to your site in results

  • System emails: Your store name appears as the sender name in automated emails

  • Website header: If no logo is uploaded, your website name displays in the header

  • Browser tabs: Your store name appears in the tab title of your Homepage, while your favicon displays as a small icon next to it
