Go Live Checklist: Steps for Launching

Everything you need to check off before sharing your store with the world

Use this checklist to make sure everything is set up correctly before you go live.

Not every section applies to every store, so you may skip anything that isn't relevant to your setup, and come back to it later if needed.

💡 TIP: Just getting started with Uscreen? Visit Welcome to Uscreen first for a platform overview, then come back here when you're ready to work through your launch checklist.

1. Add Your Content

ℹ️ INFO: Set up your Categories before publishing your videos. A video won't appear in your catalog unless it's assigned to at least one category and marked as Published.

2. Customize Your Storefront

3. Connect Payments

Before you can sell anything, you'll need to connect to a payment service.

💡 TIP: Connect Stripe early since features like Abandoned Cart, Coupons, and Subscription Upsell all require an active Stripe connection.

4. Pricing & Access

5. Marketing

6. Settings

7. Test Before You Launch

Try not to skip this section! Testing before you go live saves you from your members finding issues first.

  • Create a Test User and simulate the full signup and checkout experience

  • Test a purchase end-to-end using a 100% off coupon code to verify checkout works correctly

  • Check your storefront on both desktop and mobile

  • Verify that at least one video plays correctly when logged in as a member

  • Send yourself a test email to check your email template formatting

  • Verify your custom domain is resolving correctly (if applicable)

  • Double-check that all videos are Published and assigned to a Category

💡 TIP: Use an incognito or private browser window to simulate the experience of a brand-new visitor who isn't logged in to your store.

You're ready to launch! 🚀

Once everything above is checked off, you're good to go.

Share your store link with your audience and start growing your membership.
