Use this checklist to make sure everything is set up correctly before you go live.
Not every section applies to every store, so you may skip anything that isn't relevant to your setup, and come back to it later if needed.

1. Add Your Content
ℹ️ INFO: Set up your Categories before publishing your videos. A video won't appear in your catalog unless it's assigned to at least one category and marked as Published.
Check supported file formats before uploading
Required for the video thumbnails to appear in your catalog
For each video:
Add a short and long description
Assign to at least one Category
Set visibility to Published
Add SEO settings
Create Collections to group videos into playlists or courses (optional)
Upload Resources to attach downloadable files to videos (optional)
Create Authors and assign them to videos (optional)
Create Catalog Filters to help members browse your content (optional)
Schedule video releases if you're launching with a content calendar (optional)
2. Customize Your Storefront
Upload your logo
Set your primary color
Add your favicon
Configure navigation items
Adjust the watching experience settings
Customize your email templates so transactional emails reflect your brand
Set up a custom domain (optional but recommended)
Set up Landing Pages for your signup or promotional flow (optional)
Set up Community if you plan to enable it at launch (optional)
3. Connect Payments
Before you can sell anything, you'll need to connect to a payment service.
Connect Stripe (recommended)
Connect PayPal (alternative or additional payment option)
💡 TIP: Connect Stripe early since features like Abandoned Cart, Coupons, and Subscription Upsell all require an active Stripe connection.
4. Pricing & Access
Create your subscription plans: set pricing, billing frequency, and free trial options
Set up one-time purchases or rentals for individual videos (optional)
Create Bundles to group and sell content together (optional)
Set up Free Access offers for complimentary content (optional)
5. Marketing
Create Coupons for launch discounts or promotions (optional)
Set up Abandoned Cart to recover incomplete signups (optional)
Set up Reduce Churn to retain canceling members (optional)
Set up Try Again for Free to win back churned members (optional)
Set up Subscription Upsell to encourage upgrades at checkout (optional)
Set up Giveaway Funnels to capture leads with free content (optional)
Set up Refer a Friend to grow through member referrals (optional)
Set up Email Broadcasts to communicate with your audience (optional)
Set up Automations for triggered email sequences (optional)
6. Settings
Fill in your Company Information under Settings
Add team members and set their roles (if applicable)
Set up a custom email domain so emails come from your domain, not Uscreen's (recommended)
Set up Tags to organize and segment your members (optional)
Connect an email marketing tool: Mailchimp, Drip, or others (optional)
Set up Google Analytics or Tag Manager for tracking (optional)
Configure Webhooks or Zapier for external integrations (optional)
Set up Push Notifications if you have mobile or TV apps (optional)
7. Test Before You Launch
Try not to skip this section! Testing before you go live saves you from your members finding issues first.
Create a Test User and simulate the full signup and checkout experience
Test a purchase end-to-end using a 100% off coupon code to verify checkout works correctly
Check your storefront on both desktop and mobile
Verify that at least one video plays correctly when logged in as a member
Send yourself a test email to check your email template formatting
Verify your custom domain is resolving correctly (if applicable)
Double-check that all videos are Published and assigned to a Category
💡 TIP: Use an incognito or private browser window to simulate the experience of a brand-new visitor who isn't logged in to your store.
