Here are some commonly used terms within the Uscreen platform.

Coupons - You can create promotions and discounts for your customers to gain access to your programs at a reduced price. With coupons you can either offer a fixed price or percentage discount.

Content - Can be either an individual video or a collection.

Customer - A customer is any individual who has an account on your storefront.

Impersonate - The impersonate feature allows you to see your storefront from the perspective of a specific customer.

Admin - Admin is main administrator which has access to the interface.

Category - A category is a way to organize your programs in a logical group. You'll see categories displayed on your catalog page.

Code Editor - The code editor is used to modify a theme via html/liquid, this is an advanced feature, learn more here.

Admin Area - This is your main backend admin area which you as the store owner will use to manage customers, create programs, update the look & feel of your storefront, view analytics and more.

Subscription - Subscription is a way of selling all your programs via a recurring model. Learn how to create a new subscription here.

Bundles - Is a way of selling a group of programs. For example, if you wish to sell a "Christmas Pack" with a special price. Learn more about creating bundles here.

Theme - It's a pre-built look & feel of your storefront. Learn more about setting your theme here.

OTT Branded Apps - OTT means over the top, it refers to mobile and tv app viewing such as AppleTV, Roku, Samsung TV, iOS & Android, Chromecast and others. You can fully get your own app in the app store for all your content using Uscreen, click here to learn more.

Storefront - This refers to your actual website storefront we provide you to sell and distribute your videos. In the admin area you use Themes to customize it.

Web Hooks - A web hook is a piece of data that is sent when triggered by an action. Various applications use web hooks. In the case of our platform, we can send an event such as a customer signup to any external system, such as Salesforce. So when a customer signs up, this event can be sent to Salesforce or MailChimp as a new subscriber.
